Jackie is correct. The company I work for, Sports Marketing Surveys in
Surrey, are the official Olympic media monitors for this years Olympics. I
have just checked with the Olympic analysis team and they have confirmed
that 'Doping' whilst receiving some mentions/coverage, did in fact only
receive a very small proportion of the total exposure.
So, whilst the report is inexpensive and may have valid content about drug
(ab)use in general, the claim below certainly appears to be an erroneous
one.

Actually I am pleased to disagree with you that doping amongst athletes
dominated the coverage of the 2004 Athens Olympics. I don't recall hearing
that much about the drugs issue which made a welcome change... I think most
people were more interested in the actual sport - Kelly Holmes etc!
However I'm sure the report is interesting...
