I am tempted to agree with Sara's tactics but we will have to grapple with
Agenda for Change and the National Occupational Standards + Knowledge and
skills Framework which will eventually restrict local initiatives such as
Sara's.
Most of us are still struggling to understand how this will all fit
together - perhaps LKDN/HLG can run a day school on Getting the best from
Agenda for Change. CILIP are also very interested in these moves to 'single
status ' and LKDN and I have been trying to work with Guy Daines (CILIP) on
this.
Obviously learning and development opportunities need to be seen in the
light of impact via a vis AfC.
