Having sat on four job matching panels for my Trust to date and with a
commitment to almost one day a week job matching l have to say this is an
enlightening experience. It emphasises the importance of good job
descriptions and the need to make sure tasks and responsibilities for staff
are well documented and not subsumed under woolly phrases. All the job
descriptions for my team were submitted before l sat on any panel, mores the
pity, but I have to say that sitting on these panels has made me appreciate
the difference between a good and a bad job description.

Apologies for crossposting, and/or if you have seen this already.
In addition to direct relevance to some list members, also of interest
to people like me (outside any UK NHS or HE)
Fiona
PS Apologies particularly as I've rather lost track- don't always pick
up 'real' email by mistake, as I get so much spam (did you know Bill
Gates gets 4 million spam a day?!)
