Wanted:
Freelance authors for Internet tutorials for Adult and Community Learners ________________________________________________________________
The RDN Virtual Training Suite is looking for ten practitioners from the
Adult and Community Learning (ACL) sector (anywhere in the UK) to help
write subject content for five new Internet tutorials.
This free, national Web service offers short online tutorials designed to
help people get the best from the Web for their subject - it currently
offers a range of tutorials for further and higher education subjects, but
we'd like to develop 5 new tutorials specifically for ACL learners:
1) Internet for Arts and Crafts
2) Internet for Health and Fitness
3) Internet for Job-searching
4) Internet for Digital Photography
5) Internet for Gardening
Each author will each be paid £1,200 to help co-write subject content,
quizzes and exercises within the standard template for the RDN Virtual
Training Suite.
For further information and details of how to apply please see:
http://www.vts.rdn.ac.uk/acl_spec.html
The deadline for applications is Friday 8th October 2004.
We look forward to working with you to create eLearning materials that can
be quickly and easily adopted in a range of learning centres and ACL
programmes and courses in 2005.
With best wishes,
Emma Place
