Apologies if this is stretching the realm of lis-medical a bit far, but
there isn't an equivalent list for social work and as the gap between health
and social care narrows, I'm hoping someone might be able to help.
One of our lecturers has set a 2nd year undergraduate assignment for social
work students researching reports of social care-related public inquiries,
and the students are coming in droves trying to locate the actual reports,
not just commentary or news coverage. Examples requested so far include:
Jasmine Beckford case (1980s), Tyra Henry case, Toni-Ann Byfield case, among
others. The latter is proving the most problematic as I can find out who
led the inquiry, who wrote the report, when it was publicshed, etc but not
the title of the report itself. I may be missing something really obvious!
Does anyone have any top tips on where to search? I've tried CareData,
Child Data, various national and local government sites, law databases,
library catalogues, etc, in some cases not terribly successfully.
Any help gratefully received. Many thanks in advance.
