Apologies for cross posting.
There are still a few places remaining on the following training courses
in June 2004; Book now to avoid disappointment!

Corporate documents
Companies are obliged to file a wide range of documents, many of them in
the public domain and
thus potentially accessible by researchers. This one-day course seeks to
equip participants with the
knowledge needed to mine this treasure trove of corporate information. It
explores the institutional
arrangements for filing and obtaining company documents in the UK, US and
major European
markets. The course also identifies the reasons why these filings cannot
be obtained or may be
difficult to obtain quickly or at reasonable cost. Document contents and
the value that can be
extracted will also be examined.
30 June
Free Business Information on the Web
The course outlines some of the main business information sources
available on the web. It
considers how to evaluate the quality of such sources; how to keep abreast
of new and
disappearing websites; and briefly considers the copyright implications of
using web-based sources.
All courses are held at the Manchester Business School and are delivered
by well known experts in the field. Avoid the time and expense of
travelling to London and take advantage of the competitive prices. To
