This is the third and last in a series of seminars which have been jointly
organised by the M25 Consortium of Academic Libraries Disaster Management
Group and CPD25
This seminar is intended to be very practical, with plenty of information
on guiding principles of disaster planning; and generally-applicable advice
on how to conduct a training session for library colleagues, tailored to
their own institutional environment.
By the end of the seminar, participants will have:
An introduction to and understanding of the principles of disaster planning
An introduction to and understanding of the skills needed to run a disaster
scenario training event
An introduction to and understanding of the tools and equipment needed to
run a disaster scenario training event
The seminar is intended to be highly participative and interactive.

Cost is £35 for CPD25 members, £50 for M25 affiliate members and £70 for
other institutions, including refreshments
Please note that there are 30 places available for this event, which will
be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis. Bookings will close on
the 19th April 2004 and any cancellations after that date will incur a 50%
cancellation fee. In the event of a “no show” on the day 100% cancellation
charges will apply.
