Senior Library Assistant: Issue Desk Supervisor

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated self starter to work as a full-time Senior Library Assistant: Issue Desk Supervisor in UCL
Library Services. The post will be based at the UCL Institute of Laryngology & Otology close to Kings Cross station and is for one year in the first
instance. The postholder will supervise and co-ordinate the operation of the issue desk and enquiry services at the ILO/RNID Libraries including
day to day supervision of two library assistants.
The successful applicant will have a first degree, previous experience of Library work, excellent written and verbal communication skills, good IT
skills and knowledge of electronic library resources. A qualification in Librarianship or Information Science and experience of supervising staff
would be an advantage.
Salary within the CRA5 range, £20,629-£23,603 per annum, inclusive of London Weighting. In addition, Library Services offers a generous leave
allowance and a flexi time system.
