Subject: CURL services and Copac: good news
Hello all,
I am pleased to report that the CURL z39.50 record retrieval service
and Copac became available once more at 14.12 this afternoon,
approximately 2 days, 2 hours and 2 minutes after they were lost due to
the power failure at the University of Manchester.
As far as we can check, all is well with the services; if you are having
any difficulty connecting to them, please let us know through the usual
channels, and we will investigate.
The CURL Telnet record retrieval service is not yet fully restored.
Although some users will be able to access it, the majority probably
cannot. We expect it to be back quite soon now, but cannot give a
firmer estimate than that. We will send out another message when it is
available.
