The Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery (British Volume) will be moving from Ingenta to HighWire in December 2004.
This will provide our readers with all the high-quality facilities that most will already be familiar with from HighWire:
Comprehensive search facilities across HighWire and PubMed journals
Toll-free reference linking to other HighWire journals
Personalised eTOC alerting services
Personalised Cite-Track research alerting
Electronic correspondence
New free online-only articles
Improved facilities for the Orthopaedic Proceedings Supplement
Crucially, the move to HighWire will enable searching across both the American and British Volumes of JBJS on the same site.
The JBJSB website address for the Home Page will not be changing: www.jbjs.org.uk but all of the content urls will change.
There will be an initial free trial period of three months to the end of March 2005. Thereafter access will be restricted to current print or disc subscribers.
