Hi,
Journals archives are beginning to appear all over the place, but finding
out about their existence is not always easy.
I recently discovered the the Psychonomic Society is beginning the process
of digitising the backfiles of its journals and has made them freely
available at: http://www.psychonomic.org/search/index.cgi. Currently the
archive comprises 1993-2000 issues of all their journals. You can't link
directly to the individual journals in the archive, but can limit your
search to particular journals, volumes, keywords etc..
I found out about the existence of the archive when visiting their site to
try and find someone I could speak to about a problem subscription of ours,
when I noticed there was a link on their site to journal archives. I have
since noticed that there is a link from each journal home page on ingenta
select to the journal archives of the Psychonomic Society, but to be honest
I just didn't notice it.
However, since none of our psychologists knew about this either, I thought
this might be useful information for some members of this list, who may also
be unaware of the existence of this archive.
Cheers
Lelsey
