Course Overview
For an online interface to be effective, it must be easy to use, work well and meet customer needs. This highly practical course will provide non-technical staff with an introduction to the issues, knowledge and skills they need to make effective online interfaces, skills which they can use to make their own organisation's online services more successful.
Course Focus
a.. Identification of the different forms of online interfaces, e.g. websites, email and FTP
b.. Examination of the importance and key principles of good design, user behaviour and its relevance to design process
c.. Delegates will be given a simple toolkit for interface design which will include methods of testing and evaluation
d.. Real-life examples and practical projects throughout the day to reinforce the issues being discussed
