Dear Linda
Thanks for those words of wisdom regarding the benefits of this list. I am
in the process of writing up my report and compiling my portfolio and have
like you also discussed the benefits of this discussion list. It has been
a
comfort to refer to the list when I have been racking my brain trying to
understand what CILIP require for some sections of the report. Amongst all
the negative postings today there have been some helpful ones too such as
the discussion regarding the benefits of visiting libraries in other
sectors. I found this very insightful and I organised some of my own
visits
such as visiting my local college library where I attended evening classes
a
few years ago.
As Linda said have a look at the archives and you will see that this is not
a usual discussion string at all. You will be missing out on lots of
helpful tips if you choose to unsubscribe now.
