I chartered in November 2002 and also discussed the benefits of list
subscription in my pdr!
I genuinely found the list to be of help in supporting those of us who were
rushing to submit under the old regulations - including those of us who had
procrastinated for a considerable length of time (3 years!!!).
I found the list to be useful in addressing issues of current awareness and
in raising awareness of the breadth of the field beyond my area of public
libraries.
I am fortunate to have received financial recognition for becoming Chartered
but am now awaiting the outcome of Job Evaluation which may also impact upon
my salary.
