Hi
I am in the process of chartering and generally find the list quite
useful for identifying concerns about chartership, the submission
process etc.
I am sure other people find the list an encouraging resource while
compiling their submission documents.
Maybe a chartership discussion list where people are actively pursuing
chartership is not the ideal place to post in a discouraging manner ?
Regards
Em

You can't "demand" something without proving some benefit to your
employers Emilce. Why not actually Charter (you've been talking about it
for enough years on this list without actually doing it)

Well they are far from "average" then. They have obviously built up a
good reputation based on results (nothing stopping you from trying to
build up a good reputation too, Emilce).

I certainly wouldn't dream of paying you ten quid an hour.

When you find a library manager who thinks you're worth this investment,
I'm sure we'd all be very interested to hear Emilce. In the meantime,
please do not disparage/discourage those of us who Chartered (or who
want to Charter) even without needing to be paid to do it.
