Dear Helen and others,
I don't think they can expect you to have a personally produced piece of evidence for each section of the report. They themselves
say somewhere (can't remember where so don't ask) that different sections will be fuller for different people. The questions
necessarily have to cover a very wide range of jobs and experience. I'm just about to submit, so I'm not an expert, but my
feeling was to include evidence that showed I had an understanding of the issues.
So in 4.1 for example I talk a bit about how copyright and about disability discrimination issues affect the service I work in,
then referenced bits of evidence about how those issues affect the service, eg a webpage for our academic staff about copyright
law and a webpage about assistive technology resources available to our disabled students. In the evaluative introduction I've
explained that I haven't been involved in producing these documents but I need to be aware of the issues in order to provide a
good service.
Do other people think that's a good way to go?

Could anyone advise me regarding the contents of the portfolio...
Do you have to have something in the portfolio to link in with every section of the report? I am struggling, for example, to find
pieces of work I have produced personally that are relevant to section 2.2, 4.1, 4.3, 5.1 etc. As long as I have covered all the
general assessment criteria for the portfolio does this matter?
Thanks in advance for any advice; I will summarise any replies for the list.
Helen
