this Thursday, 9th September, 2:00 to 5:00 pm, at Strood in Kent.

If you intend to travel to Strood by train, I understand that due to engineering works in Strood tunnel

The Kent Sub-Branch of CILIP, together with the Career Development Group
(South East Division), are very pleased to announce a half-day workshop
for chartership candidates in Kent this September. People who are interested
in chartership, but have not yet registered, are also welcome to attend.
This is your chance to find out more about becoming a chartered member
of CILIP: how to understand the regulations, what evidence you need to compile,
and how to make the most of opportunities for continuous professional development.

The event is free of charge.
ACCESS DETAILS: Strood Hall at Strood Library is accessible and user-friendly for people
with special needs. A ramp leads up to the hall, and toilet facilities are
available on the same level. Hearing loops are available.
DIRECTIONS: Strood library is situated off the A2, via Gun Lane.
Turn into Bryant Road. The library is halfway up Bryant Road on the
right-hand side. There is a small car park (10 spaces) with 2 spaces
reserved for disabled parking. Street parking is usually available.
The library is within walking distance of Strood railway station
and Rochester is not very much further.
