I'd be grateful if any FE librarians could tell me how they liaise with
their academic staff to purchase resources for the library.
What I'd like to know is
* How do you alert their attention to new material?
* Do you meet with academic staff and if so how often?
* How many subject areas do you deal with?
* What is your policy for withdrawing material from stock - to what
extent are the subject staff involved?
* How do you keep track of their spending?
I have my own system operating at the moment but am always looking for new
ideas and practice!!
If you could spend a few moments, I'd be grateful.
