Thanks to all who have taken time to reply to the portfolio questions...
responses varied! Here is a summary...
Just one response from someone who has had their submission accepted...
"My application has just been returned stamped with the magic 'Accepted'. I
didn't look that closely at matching evidence to sections, I listed mine as
supporting section 1, 2 etc rather than 2.3, 4.4. As it has got through OK
I guess as long as you covered everything they ask for you should do all
right."
Several people are waiting to hear if they've passed and say they didn't
have sth specific for each section, they just covered the general assessment
criteria. (In one case a supervisor and RLO had confirmed that this was
ok).
Someone else says that they are systematically working through each section
to provide evidence, while another says
"I don't think there are any instructions that are so prescriptive in the
guide... However, all advices received from colleagues, trainers and advices
given at 'Powerful Portfolio' type events would suggest that something for
each broad section is advisable i.e there are a few subsections where I have
not provided evidence, but I have written something to try to show an
understanding/grasp of these areas"
I guess everyone has seen the email Laura sent to the list which makes a
similar point to the one above about including evidence that shows awareness
of the issues.
Hope this is helpful; thanks again to those who replied.
Happy Christmas to everyone!
