Hi,
It seems to me that the project has the same problem in
this area (grid usage accounting) as it does in people
management (the famous timesheets). They are demanding
way more information than they actually need.
All the project needs to know is "how many GHz-hr did you run
for which VO". Sites can send monthly summaries. They don't need
to provide information on how many cycles they provided to
other Grids nor local users. In special cases we might
provide extra information to e.g. VO management like
which users in the VO used the time.
I would be interested in seeing real requirements for something
more than this. I haven't yet. Real requirements meaning an
explanation of why it's needed, not an explanation of how one should
get all possible information and of course filter away all the
unnecessary information on the site's behalf.
