All LCG job managers come from a single rpm:
# rpm -qf /opt/globus/setup/globus/lcglsf.in
lcg-extra-jobmanagers-1.1.8-1
In your site-cfg.h you comment out the "pbs" and "lcgpbs" definitions
and uncomment the ones for "lsf" and "lcglsf". You can also keep the
pbs defaults in site-cfg.h, but override them in the profile of your
CE (after including site-cfg.h):
/*
* Disable PBS and use LSF instead
*/
#undef CE_LRMS_PBS
#undef CE_USE_RTCS
#define CE_LRMS_LSF
#define CE_LRMS_NAME lsf
#define CE_JM_TYPE lcglsf
#define CE_LRMS_PATHS /usr/local/lsf/bin /* example */
#define CE_QUEUES grid /* example */
Then run "./do_mkxprof.sh" on the CE profile. That should configure
and enable the job manager, e.g. creating these files:
/opt/globus/etc/grid-services/jobmanager-lcglsf
/opt/globus/lib/perl/Globus/GRAM/JobManager/lcglsf.pm
Look for the progress and possible errors in this file on the CE:
/var/obj/log/client
If it fails for reasons not understood, try rebooting your CE
(that is a good idea anyway, after any significant changes).
