It is very probably due to a standard script. Look at these:
/etc/csh.cshrc
/etc/csh.login
/etc/profile.d/*.csh
To find the culprit, put the following at the top of /etc/csh.cshrc:
set verbose
Then start a csh and capture the log e.g. from an xterm.
You will see from which file the faulty command was issued.
