Well, since it has yet to be changed I'd say that we are awaiting an
existence proof that it isn't impossible! Two of the collaborating
organisations in Glue (EDG and Datatag) have ceased to exist, and if it's
possible egee seems to have even less interest in schema issues than edg. As
far as I recall grid3 went ahead with their own modifications to glue.
Looking at the HENPIG web site www.hicb.org which was the parent of glue it
doesn't seem to have had a meeting since November, and the mailing list has
one mail in 2004 which basically says that it doesn't exist any more. So who
exactly is responsible for the schema? My suggestion would be that LCG
should just start making extensions on its own - but even in LCG, who is
responsible?

If "we" is LCG I don't think you ever asked me. In EDG I gave lots of
feedback, but I pretty much gave up after the December ATF because it became
obvious that it was going nowhere. As we've discussed before LCG doesn't
even seem to have a mechanism for raising such issues other than in this
list; where is the feedback supposed to go?
