Dear Colleagues
The final IBRU workshop in 2004 will be held from 22-24 November on the
subject of 'Archive Research for Boundary Dispute Resolution'. In order
to make use of the resources available at the National Archives
(formerly the Public Record Office) and the British Library, this event
will be held in London.
The workshop, led by experienced archivists, researchers and case
managers, is designed to help participants appreciate how archive
material can be used to help build a case, and to provide practical
guidance on how to make the best possible use of time available for
archive research.
Full details and a booking form are available at
http://www-ibru.dur.ac.uk/workshops/2004/archives.html, or contact
myself for further information. Above all, book early if you would like
to participate. Due to restrictions on groups visiting the archives,
numbers will be strictly limited.
Kind regards
