Could anyone help to establish the following:
(a) whether state parties to a boundary delimitation
exercise could or ought to retain intellectual Property
(copyright)over cartographic and/or satellite imagery
materials generated during the negotiation process.
(b)whether there is a precedent in practice on this issue
(c)whether such copyright ought to be shared with an
independent facilitator to the delimitation/demarcation
process or the independent contractors who are
commissioned to produce imageries and maps.
This I hope
will be a good weekend teaser for everyone.
