TRIALS SEARCH CO-ORDINATOR (PART-TIME 0.5 fte)
£18,893- £21,010 pa (pro-rata)
A Trials Search Co-ordinator is required to undertake the identification of
clinical trials relevant to the Group.
The Group is part of the Cochrane Collaboration - an international
organisation that publishes systematic reviews of the effects of healthcare
interventions. Duties include updating search strategies for identifying
randomised controlled trials, electronic medical literature searching,
journal handsearching and developing and maintaining specialised trials
registers.
The post would suit a computer literate graduate with a health sciences or
information/librarianship background, who can work methodically and as part
of a team. The post is available for four years initially, working 17.5
hours per week.
