Health Libraries Group has been a supporter of Partnerships in Health
Information since its beginning. PHI's purpose is to further the cause of
evidence based health services internationally by nurturing long-term
partnerships between library and information services in the UK and library
services in developing countries. Currently such partnerships are making
better health information available to people in Sierra Leone, Uganda, Kenya
and the Chechen Autonomous Republic. If you would like to find out more
about PHI take a look at the website http://www.omni.ac.uk/hosted/phi .
Contact Jean Shaw at [log in to unmask] if you want more information or
think that you would like to become a Friend of PHI ( you'll get an email
newsletter, invitation to annual meeting and review of the year, annual
report - and most importantly, you'll be making a donation towards their
work.)
