I had a support call on a laptop which was dealt with by someone I believe to
have been in India.
He was helpful, knowledgeable, and efficient.
As I understnad it for the US, the consumer support is basedin India, and the
corporate support has returned to the USA, but this may not have been fully
implemented yet.
