WooHoo!
I can safely say that our role has been to criticise the way the government
has mis-handled the development of the NHS-net, the delay & non-roll-out of
ICRS or whatever they choose to call the vapourware of the week, and to speak
out against the concept of over-riding 20 years of GP IT development in a
brusque, arrogant and ill-informed manner. How dare a representative of the
body that banned development by GP systems suppliers of independent GP - GP
transfer, say we are in any way responsible. The plethora of constructive
advice available to this & prior governments is stunning, the amount heeded
minimal.
Added to which, why does he think secondary care IT is sooo far behind?
Good job Richard Granger isn't a total tosser then. He WANTS us to reflect on
our part in this, & compare it to THEIRS??
Oh dear. & He's meant to be in charge.
