Computers use energy, if they are on the power stations are pumping out
CO2. I read somewhere that if we all
switched all our standby equipment off we could shut 2 power stations
inthe UK.
There is a tendency to leave them on - I hate to think how much energy
we waste at work with all the machines running
on the workstations.
The servers don't get switched off !!! Not suprisingly!
