Well, I'm now connected and it all works so long as I don't try to use Outlook rules to forward mail to my old gp-c88019.nhs.uk address (which is the one our PCT is still using for their email system, so the one I have to at work :-(. However the forwarding from contact using their Filters is working.
My home setup is Windows XP connecting using Demon Broadband with a fixed IP address and domain (glead.demon.co.uk). I dual boot to Mepis Linux - but that's another story............
IMAP from home:
I have, as you pointed out, had to use an email address from the glead.demon.co.uk domain. Servers etc as described previously on list, SSL box checked for both servers (under more settings > Advanced).
Tried to set up LDAP as described on Contact website, Causes Outlook to crash!
