Just been to one of the LMC : GPC seminars.
The consensus is the same.
We cannot "be" NHS Bodies, only "be regarded as an NHS body for this
contract".
I see no advantage.

Our LMC Sec's wise words were (after advising as above),
The only benefit there appears to be in becoming an NHS body is you loose
the ability to sue in the civil courts for breach of your contract. Until
they change the rules.
