A sense of honour and responsibility.
I hope he was congratulated for this by the GMC. The BBC reported that
the committee "said they were impressed by the quality of the
testimonies given about Dr Bee". And Dr Bee is reported to have
commented afterwards "I am very relieved. It's been playing on my mind,
I'm very relieved it's all over."
Predictably a victim's relative has been found who believes "it's a
complete whitewash". He also "honestly believe(s) it's time that the
government scrapped the GMC and replaced it with an independent body
with lay members on it." Like the GMC, presumably.
