Dummy me - look and ye shall find. Very quick Google - just shows that I
have not looked on the NELH recently!

Hi David,
Do we English GPs have access to the Welsh NHS Net and if so what is the
URL. Where is the DTB?? - What is the URL??
Best wishes

Subject: eDTB and BNF on CDROM
Does anyone else on GPUK get these products on CD? I've been doing so
for some years and I've kept up the 70GBP per year payments even after
the BNF became available on HOWIS (the Welsh NHS net) because the
interface of the CDROM product was much better - particularly it had
better search facilities.
I've just got my latest copy, including BNF 47, and find that they've
replaced the old software with an entirely new version. It's now web
browser based. The BNF and DTB are split into two separate
applications and the BNF now has the same clunky, unhelpful interface
as the version on HOWIS. The new eDTB isn't working at all on my PC at
the moment, but I'm waiting for technical support to get back to me on
that.
I think the eBNF has taken a major step backwards and I feel a bit
aggrieved that I wasn't warned before purchase that now I was only
buying the same thing that I already get free from HOWIS. I don't
think I'll be buying it again, especially as DTB is now also on the
NHS net.
