As a non-specialist, it makes you wonder if this pattern of antisocial behaviour in childhood is perpetuated as serious criminal activity in adult life. One can only presume so, and the psychopathic killer of twenty years time is now being written a ticket of exemption from the penal system in perpetuity. Never mind, another fiver on the speeding tickets will cover the cost of all of this.
BTW, the aforementioned child will never be placed in that position as he/she will never be licensed/insured/registered, so will be outside the system.

Subject: 'Conduct disorder'
A child (brat?) has just been diagnosed as having 'conduct disorder' by
child psychs referred by the families SW (hopelssly chaotic single-parent
household with mum from birth quite unable to or willing to exert any
disciplin on any thing). Specific psych problems ruled out eg ADHD, autism
etc. Mum delighted at this 'medical' diagnosis as it now means inn her mind
when talking to her, that she has no place in the causation or 'treatment'
of what she beleives to be a health problem. To their credit the child
psychs have tried to start a program of home disciplin etc, but as mum
thinks she and her child are now the victim of a health problem, she aint
doing so.
Are these pseudo-diagnoses not only wrong but are socially defined, but are
counterproductive? Is this child simply a brat as a result of social
inadequecy. I curse the SW!
