I did.
Nothing terribly surprising.
Every Home Sec since 1950 will have had a pitch about how problem X will be
solved if ID cards are reinstituted, where X changes from day to day.
Why the current one felt it tickled the right spot I do not know.
Biometrics is predominantly magic pixie dust sprinkled on it, better than
purple dust but otherwise doesn't make it a solution for anything it wasn't
before.
