Are any other Virgin Net users having difficulty staying on this list
since their spam filtering started? I keep getting automated
messages from [log in to unmask] which start: "You
have been automatically removed from the GP-UK list (GP-UK) as
a result of repeated delivery error reports from your mail system.
This decision was based on the automatic error monitoring policy in
effect for the list, and has not been reviewed or otherwise
confirmed by a human being. If you receive this message, it means
that something is wrong: while you are obviously able to receive
mail, your mail system has been regularly reporting that your
account did not exist, or that you were otherwise permanently
unable to receive mail"
I have enquired of Virgin Net and received the reply: "We have
installed on the Mail Server a Filtering System which prevents any
SPAM or JUNK email being sent to our customers. However this
shouldn't stop any emails that you have requested from certain
mailing list. I would advise you to contact them for further assistance.
( if the server blocks their emails to you then it would block any
emails from them to any Virgin.net customers emails. If this the case
their will need to contact us )" (sic)
Any suggestions (apart from resubscribing every few days as I am
having to at present)? Of course if other Virgin Net users are having
this difficulty they may not see this message.....
