These are not general / personal medical services but community nursing
services. We stopped on 1 April, apart from any we had started dressing
which would be finished within a month & we refer all the others to the
D/Ns. PCT cross and sent a letter round community staff saying it was a core
service; later wrote to GPs telling us we were supposed to give 3 months
notice etc. Not true of course and we have not changed our position which
ahs been implemented ethically and with a responsible attitude and full
communications to patients.
