More likley 'byte doctor' or 'Doctor byte' or 'DigiDoc'.
Seriously, I believe there will come the time when there will be a breed
of pure DigiDocs (Cybermedics) who are not informatics people, but actual
practicing doctors who operate out of studios rather than bricks and
mortar offices.
There will the time when we'll look back and say how archaic it is to
bring patients and health workers all the way to a building so that health
care can be delivered.
'Risk and The Cybermedics' was created in 1994. It will probably be
another 10 years before we see the almost extinction of doctors working
from surgeries.
