As Fay (& I) have tried to say it is going to be possible for those working
in medical informatics to revalidate. It won't mean you can go out and do
brain surgery. You will have to jump through some hoops which will relate
to medical informatics, as well as health and probity etc. but NOT to any
other clinical or non-clinical speciality.
This is important to many people who no longer undertake clinical work, and
it sounds as though Trefor may be in the same situation ere to long.
