They allowed to you to alter it!
We've had a PCT owned PC in our practice for a couple of years now. It
periodically fails to work - no, not sabotage, at least not by me. Just at
the moment they've taken it away without providing a replacement. AFAIK
we're not allowed to load our own software on it, just as in most companies
people are not allowed to load their own software. It seems network
managers manage or fail to manage networks in the public sector just as you
would expect.
Anyone else had PCT owned computers in their practices? Is there hope for
a better future?
