A terrible mess in Iraq
4000 people killed each year on the roads.
Childhood obesity increasing as (so it would seem) everyone is too scared to
let their kids out of their sight these days.
*All* photography banned in all municipal sports centres round here. My wife
takes our 4-year-old to swimming lessons once a week. Last week, staff
approached a proud parent trying to take a picture of her child's first time
in the pool and told her off in no uncertain terms.
My feeling is that (mirroring Mr Blair's general behaviour) while things
have the *appearance* of getting better, something is very rotten at the
core.
