Let's just face the facts - the powers that be aren't really interested in
facilitating eCommunication between members of the glorious NHS family. Why
else would (at least) one PCT install a thing called WebMarshal which blocks
all Internet access from its member practices with dire warnings of logging
sites visited etc. Staff have to enter a user name, password, and domain to
gain access, so guess what? They just don't bloody bother, and rely on
Internet access at home to pursue their (work) interests. Of course the IT
Manager at the PCT should be hung out to dry, but what do I know of these
things............
