2. How does she feel about HCAs & paramedics?
3. She will have to consider private medicine as the NHS is rapidly becoming
not geared up for people that wish to see a doctor but haven't been
prioritised to see one.
4. It would be irresponsible for a doctor to do smears or venepuncture if
they are not competent. I gave up doing smears when I joined a practice with
four female partners & two female nurses. On the other hand I am a dab hand
with the old vacutainers, unlike my partners who have lost the ability to
get blood out of a stone owing to the presence of phlebotomists, nurses &
HCAs round every corner.
