Meng Meng Wong is the leading light behind SPF - a system developed recently
by an Open Source process to reduce one variety of spam.
It would be a good idea to ask your ISP to publish SPF records in the DNS -
these simply say which servers any mail that is _really_ from them will have
come from.
Specifically, it stops the "Joe job".
Mr Wong is from pobox.com a large email redirecting service. Other people
involved include Amazon and various other software and ecommerce companies.
One of them is from Seattle and has been persuaded on this occasion not to
develop its own "standard" for the purpose.
