If it's that severe, she deserves assessment. There's
no real harm done in giving IM Diclofenac as a one-off
if that is known to work where alternatives have
failed, but one wouldn't want to manage it this way
very month.
Voltarol suppositories 100mg are an exceptionally
effective, quick acting alternative with all of the
benefits (inc self-administration) and none of the
downsides of the the injectable alternative.
