My prestigious client based in the UK and Mainland Europe is seeking a number of Smallworld Magik GIS Developers for long and short-term contracts. The right candidates will have 18-24 months of Smallworld Magik application development experience and be an expert with GE Smallworld CASE, ACE, Styles, GIS database tools. Based in Fulham, London Map Marketing are leading publishers of a wide range
of wall mapping supplying both the wholesale trade and end users. We
currently have a vacancy in our Bespoke mapping department for a Customised
Mapping Executive. This department is growing at an impressive rate and
there are plans to see it double in size over the next 12 months. You will
be working in MapInfo with a range of raster bases and vector layers to
create bespoke one-off wall maps for clients. A high level of front line
customer interfacing is required; you will see each job through from taking
the initial enquiry from the customer to creating the final file ready for
printing. As an Ordnance Survey Options agent we have access to the country
’s most up to date large scale mapping, you will play a key role in getting
this mapping to our customers. Your role will involve using your GIS skills
to develop products that can be sold in a commercial environment. We are
looking for an individual who can bring something new to our team and help
to take us to the next level.
The right candidate will preferably have previous experience working MapInfo
Pro and an interest in IT systems. Any design skills would be a distinct
advantage, the position would be an ideal first job for a recent graduate.
The role would suit a self-sufficient individual with a pragmatic approach
to problem solving. If you are energetic, possess good communications

Starting salary £18,000 bonus scheme available.
