Sorry about the bug in the levels/ordinals setting in the column
attributes dialog.
You can set this directly with the Spread>Factor>Display... menu items,
and
also with the Change Factor display button on the Spreadsheet tool bar,
which you can add to your tool bar by right clicking on the toolbar &
choosing
customize and then select the Toolbar: Spreadsheet in the bottom left
corner
of the dialog. When a factor column has focus, clicking this button
cycles around the available settings
ordinals->levels->labels->ordinals...
Note this also happens as a by product of opening the Spread>Factor>Edit
levels
menu & clicking OK. I'm sure there are also a couple of other ways
of changing this, but this should cover you for now.
