Hi Robin,
My experience is that anything below a one second duration stim time
will need to be scaled up in amplitude by the impulse's ratio to a
minute.
For example, if you were to have a 100 ms impule, you could leave the
duration alone, but instead of using a 1 for the amplitude, you would
use a 10. Otherwise, the BOLD response is way to small and to short
(it becomes scaled down). You can create a junk design matrix to
visualize this if you like.
