1. Let justice roll down - asylum seekers and the Churches
As you are aware, migrants and people seeking asylum are rarely out of the
headlines, and most of those headlines are negative. Many people in the
churches are working hard to offer practical support to people seeking asylum
or to campaign on their behalf. But church groups could be more effective in
lobbying for change if we were able to share information more effectively and
build united strategies. This conference is a one-off opportunity to improve
networking among church groups by relaunching the Churches' Refugee Network.
Please do all that you can to encourage those involved in church-based groups
to attend. Richard Solly CCRJ
